Will your cash make it to quarter-end?

I've sat across the table from boards and bankers when cash got tight. The story is almost always the same: nobody saw the covenant problem until the quarter had already closed. Put in your numbers below and you'll see it now, while you still have weeks to do something about it.

Your numbers

I filled this in with a made-up 25-bed rural hospital so you can see how it works. Swap in your own numbers. Nothing you type is saved or sent anywhere.

Liquidity
Debt service (trailing 12 months)
Next 13 weeks
Days cash on hand––
Debt service coverage––
Lowest cash, 13 weeks––

Your next 13 weeks of cash

The dashed line is the least cash you can hold and still meet your days-cash covenant.

Want this as a one-pager for your board?

I'll send you a PDF with your numbers, what they mean in plain English, and the first three things I'd do if I were sitting in your seat.

I'll email your one-pager personally within two business days. You'll also get occasional notes on cash and covenants; unsubscribe anytime. Privacy note.

Why I built this

For nine years I've closed the books and sat in the lender meetings for rural health and special districts. Small finance teams rarely have time to build a 13-week cash forecast until they're already in trouble, and by then the bank is asking the questions. This gives you the first look in a few minutes, before anyone else asks.
